Medi-scribe Solutions Inc. values the privacy of all our customers and patients. This document outlines Medi-scribe's PIPEDA and PHIPA-compliant infrastructure and protocols to ensure that patient data is safe, secure, and outlines the type of information Medi-scribe does and does not collect.

Non-Personal Information (NPI) refers to data that is non-identifiable to a person. As a result, it doesn't qualify as Personal Information or Personal Health Information.
Personal Information (PI) refers to details about an identifiable individual. This encompasses "Personal Information" as outlined in the Personal Information Protection Act (“PIPA”), Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”), and any substantial similar privacy legislation.
Information Handling and Collection:
No Storage or Processing of Identifiable Information
Medi-Scribe does not store or process any identifiable patient information. Any data processed by Medi-Scribe does not contain identifiable patient data, and no mechanisms exist to store or archive identifiable patient data into Medi-scribe’s database or servers. Along with following industry standard organizational procedures on data security, privacy breaches or unauthorized access by Medi-scribe or Medi-scribe’s 3rd parties is minimized.
Information Medi-scribe Collects:
Medi-scribe tracks feature selectionand analytics such as the specific workstation and time spent on documentation. This data is rovides system-level insights to user behaviour and assists Medi-scribe in improving our product offerings.
Information Sharing and Disclosure:
Medi-scribe does not share or disclose any information that can be identifiable to a pharmacy or pharmacist using Medi-scribe.
Changes to this Privacy Policy:
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our practices.
